  • Jan 2026 – Present: Self-employed Management Consultant. Senior Advisor (Public Interest)
  • 2013 – Dec 2025: Managing Director, Division for Banking and Insurance, Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO). Led the division that legally represents Austria’s entire banking, insurance and pension funds industry. In this capacity he represented Austria’s finance sector to EU institutions (Commission, EBA, ESMA, EIOPA) and to Austrian financial regulators (Ministry of Finance, Financial Market Authority-FMA, Central Bank -OeNB).
  • 1992 – 2012: Deputy Managing Director, Division for Banking and Insurance, WKO. Supported leadership of Austria’s banking and insurance industry group.
  • 1987 – 1992: Legal Expert, Division for Banking and Insurance, WKO. Provided legal counsel within the banking and insurance division.
  • 1982 – 1986: University Assistant, Institute for Roman and Civil Law, Johannes Kepler University Linz (Austria).
